Stonehaven loon Colin Clyne loves our local dialect so much that he named his debut album Doricana which was recorded during his 10 year stay in Southern California. His music is described as a mixture of Celtic, folk, American music and pop and he traces this back to listening to his mother's record collection from an early age. This included albums from The Corries and Neil Young. At the age of 16 his tastes changed to Oasis and by the age of 22 Colin developed his own acoustic guitar based mix. Now an accomplished touring artist, Colin is back in his native Aberdeenshire and touring Scotland before making plans to return to touring Stateside in 2014.

Readers may have heard him at the 2012 Stonehaven Hogmanay Party in the Square, on radio stations ranging from BBC Scotland and our local Northsound Radio Aberdeen and at the Lemon Tree. His future gigs include Party in the Park, Stonehaven.
