Fussle is the Doric word to whistle or a whistle whilst Fusslin means whistling. For example:
Nae muckle o fusslin ah'll bring his doggie back tae him, sae he is gyan tae buy a proper dog fussle the morn.
Which translates to English as:
No amount of whistling will bring his dog back to him, so he is going to buy a proper dog whistle tomorrow.
